Creek Ridge in Hot Springs, North Carolina blends the best of wilderness and luxury, from our log cabins along the mountain top with hot tubs and fireplaces, to our camping cabins overlooking the mountains of Hot Springs, or you can camp in the covered shelters known as peekas, alongside lovely Spring Creek. Nestled high in the mountains of the Pisgah National Forest, Hot SPrings is a place like no other.

Down a rustic trail, lies the main gear deck, where Creek Ridge delivers your cooler & tent. From this deck, you take your gear and walk down to your secluded private campsite, in the lush old growth forest within earshot of the babbling creek.

A wise man has said that camping is all about the fire. During your stay, we offer you a bundle of firewood free.

If you have forgotten a basic item, have no fear; camping gear, food, and sundries are as close as the Creek Ridge Camp Store, where you check in for your stay.

Spend a lazy, quiet day basking in the sun alongside the creek, or hike one of the many wooded trails through the mountainside while enjoying idyllic mountain views. Throw a line for trout or small-mouth bass in some of the purest water around, or just sit quietly and commune with nature in this little slice of paradise in the mountains.

One short mile away, back in town, visit one of the quaint shops, enjoy five-star dining, take an exciting rafting adventure down the French Broad River, or soak away your cares in natural hot springs mineral water, coming out of the ground at 105 degrees. Horseback riding, gemstone mining, and skeet and trap shooting are just some of the other nearby activities available for the adventurous.

If you have never visited Hot Springs, NC, you will know in moments that you have finally come home. A small town with a big heart, the locals here treat you like family, and everyone waves and smiles as you pass.

Close to Pigeon Forge, Asheville, Gatlinsburg, or Cherokee; Hot Springs, North Carolina is just a hop, skip, and a jump off the beaten path.

Directly adjoining the campground is the Appalachian Trail, and weary hikers can easily make the campground for a much-needed rest before continuing their journey.

Those not into "roughing it" need not worry, as several lavish cabins surround the property.

Wake to the sounds of chittering birds and squirrels, and the rippling water of spring creek flowing along the campground.

From town Hwy 209 turn right on Henderson Drive, pavement turns to gravel, follow gravel road up the hill, turn right on High Mountain Road, parking is at the top of the mountain, check in is on your left.
